Bank statements and Otto
One reader that takes whatever your bank exports, learns your column layout once, and matches lines to invoices and receipts.
Working todayHow it works
- Export the statement from online banking as CSV or XLSX.
- Drop it on Banking, Import. Otto asks once about the columns.
- Matched lines are shown against their invoice or receipt; the rest are the to-do list.
- Re-import overlapping ranges freely; duplicates are dropped by fingerprint.

Reconciliation is a Saturday.

The unmatched list is the whole job, and it is short.
Which banks?
Any bank that exports a statement. The layout is learnt on the first import and asked about once.
Open banking?
In the UAE, open finance through a licensed aggregator is available on request. Jordan's framework is not open to small businesses yet, so the file path is the reliable one across both countries.
