Otto

How it works

  1. Open Accounting, Export, and choose the period.
  2. Pick the format: QuickBooks, Xero or Zoho Books.
  3. Download the CSV. The total debits and credits are shown and match the trial balance.
  4. Import it on their side. The memo on every line says where it came from.

Does the chart of accounts have to match?

Map it once in Settings. Unmapped accounts are listed before the export runs.

Is there a limit on file size?

Xero takes 300 lines a file and QuickBooks 1,000. Otto splits the export into files that fit, numbered in order.

Every screen exports too?

Yes, as CSV, filtered as you see it.

See it with your own file.
